UHCDC Kick-off of Hāna Food Hub Project ~ February 2023

The HFUU – Hāna Chapter has received a grant from the County of Maui OED to work with the University of Hawai’i Community Design Center (UHCDC) Team to assist with developing the plan for the Hāna Community Kitchen Project (grant name) aka “Hāna Hub”.

Preliminary ideas for getting started were discussed in a meeting in mid-December around having an official virtual kick-off meeting to launch this effort with a core team in later February, with a plan to bring the project team from UHCDC for a site visit in March 2023.
